Proton Therapy Neuropsychology Study Receives Dissertation Award

Daniel Smith, a research associate in the lab of Carol Armstrong, PhD, ABN, director of the Neuropsychology Lab in the Neuro-Oncology Program at CHOP, was announced the award winner at the PNS Monthly Meeting Jan. 27.

CHOP Announces Fetal Neuroprotection Program

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia launched the Fetal Neuroprotection and Neuroplasticity Program which builds onto already growing evidence of the interaction of heart disease and brain development in the fetus.

Study Shows Normal Neurodevelopment Two Years After in Utero Surgery for Twin-Twin Transfusion Syndrome

The Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment at CHOP serves more than 150 families with complicated multiples pregnancies each year and performs more than 50 fetoscopic laser surgeries annually, one of the highest volumes of prenatal laser surgeries in the nation.
