Proton Therapy Neuropsychology Study Receives Dissertation Award

Daniel Smith, a research associate in the lab of Carol Armstrong, PhD, ABN, director of the Neuropsychology Lab in the Neuro-Oncology Program at CHOP, was announced the award winner at the PNS Monthly Meeting Jan. 27.

Vismodegib’s Activity Tested in Medulloblastoma Subgroups

Tom Curran, PhD, FRS, of The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institute, contributed to an article in the Journal of Clinical Oncology assessing the efficacy of a drug called vismodegib (Erivedge) in a subgroup of patients with recurrent medulloblastoma.
